Do your products meet US safety standards?
As parents, safety is top priority to us. Our products meet or exceed US mandatory and voluntary safety standards developed by the ASTM. We go an extra step and have our cribs and toddler bed tested by an independent lab.
What does "no formaldehyde added" mean?
All wood has natural levels of formaldehyde so it is not possible to claim formaldehyde-free. No formaldehyde added means the adhesive has no formaldehyde in it. The natural formaldehyde in the wood itself is very low (trace level content) but the existence of it precludes claiming formaldehyde-free. The MDF we use is the best on the market and is as clean as any wood material.
Are your products eco-friendly?
It is important to us (and our future generations) that we choose responsible and eco-friendly ways to make our products. We use water based, low VOC, non toxic paint. We use 100% recycled or reclaimed MDF on all of our products. All the materials we use are carefully chosen to ensure they are sustainable. We design our furniture to grow with your child, to be used for a lifetime. Many pieces can be taken out of the nursery and used in other rooms of your home.
Is the crib easy to assemble?
Yes. Our cribs are easily assembled in approximately 30 - 45 minutes. Any tools required are included.
What size mattress do I need for my Spot On Square Crib and Toddler Bed?
A standard full-size crib mattress (W 28" L 52" H 6"). We recommend the Nook Pebble Pure Mattress which is available on our site.
How should I clean and maintain my product?
We suggest using a very soft, clean cloth (microfiber cloth is best), slightly dampened with water to gently clean your piece. Do not use abrasives or any type of chemical cleaners, baby wipes, or solvents (even if they are eco-friendly, non-toxic, organic, etc.) as these may leave marks or remove the finish of the product.
If you have a Roh Crib, Reverie Crib, or Alto Crib with acrylic parts: Never use anything but a clean soft microfiber cloth slightly dampened with water to keep the acrylic clean and dust free. Never use abrasives, glass cleaners, bottled cleaners, baby wipes, etc. (even if they are eco-friendly, non-toxic, organic...) as these items can dull the finish or cause scratches/crazing of the acrylic.
Is the changing pad included with the changing tray?
No. A standard changing pad found at most retail stores will fit. We recommend the Nook Changing Pad which is available on our site.
